Stirling Knit 'n' Natter - January 2025

Happy new year and dates for your diary!

Just a short one this month to wish you all a happy new year and let you know about our plans for 2025.

Unusually, the regular Scottish yarn festival dates for 2025 have all already been announced (see below) so get these into your calendar if you'd like to come with us! I've set up events on Meetup for each of our "usual" festivals and it's really helpful if you can RSVP if you think you might come with us. For the Glasgow School of Yarn and Scottish Festival of Yarn, you'll be asked when you RSVP whether you'd prefer to attend on the Saturday or Sunday and we'll pick a day closer to the time. I'll update the events with more details as they become available, including when tickets go on sale.

Otherwise, in 2025, we're keeping our usual pattern of alternating online and in-person meetups on Monday evenings. As always, everyone is very welcome to join us either online or in-person or both depending on what suits.

Friars Wynd update: the back door to the hotel from the car park will be locked all day (instead of just at night), from this week onwards, but the manager will share the code with me so that we can continue to still use it. I'll share the code when I get it (and when it changes periodically) but, if you have any problems getting in, you can phone the number on the sign by the back door, let them know that you're there for the knitting group and they'll give you the code.
